Gibson SG STANDARD - 2000 - Cherry Finish + Hardcase in Chorlton, Cheshire for sale

Stunning example of a classic Gibson SG. It has character wearings (see pictures below) which only makes it prettier. Plays and sounds superb. It can sing sweetly, or scream and wail. Top quality materials and finish. The nitro lacquer is just starting to sink into the grain. All mahogany body and neck - no maple here. Rosewood fingerboard. Light, but still has great sustain. Replaced the machine heads with sturdy Vintage Grovers. Really reliable tuning. The neck profile is slimmer than recent SG's - more 60's than 50's - though still not skinny and supremely comfortable. It's also had a full set-up and clean. The guitar comes with a black hardcase with the black lining. The case is a bit knocked about on the edges, but then that's what its for. Looking for a quick sell at this price.
