Music Teacher (piano, flute, violin, theory) and Piano Accompanist in Chorlton, Cheshire for sale

I am a 27-year old classically-trained musician with 8 years’ teaching experience. I have recently moved from Hertfordshire to Manchester and am looking to take on new students. I am available for the following: - Piano/keyboard tuition – all standards - Flute tuition – all standards - Violin tuition – up to grade 5 - Theory tuition – up to grade 5 - Assistance with GCSE and A-level Music syllabus - Piano accompaniment for music exams and auditions My approach: I take a personal approach to each student dependant on age, standard, and what they wish to achieve (whether it is working towards the next grade or simply playing for fun). My pupils’ ages range between five and 50+ I am patient and cheerful by nature, and have been told that I am particularly good at building a rapport with young children and teenagers. I ensure that my lessons are both focused and fun, in order to facilitate progress whilst encouraging interest and enthusiasm for classical music. A bit about me: I completed all my music exams as a teenager, achieving distinctions for my DipABRSM Performance Diploma on the piano, as well as for grade 8 on the flute and violin. I attained an A grade at A-level music, and have grade 5 theory. I was awarded a music scholarship to St Albans High School For Girls and went on to play the flute in the Hertfordshire County Youth Orchestra, participating in tours around Europe. I have given solo performances at numerous charity and celebratory events in recent years. I am a keen singer too, and since moving to Manchester I have joined the Hallé Choir as a soprano. I live in Chorlton (South Manchester) and mainly travel out to my pupils by car, but can also hold lessons in my home. I have an up-to-date CRB check and can supply references. Tuition fees are £14 for 30 minutes, £18 for 45 minutes, or £24 for 60 minutes. There is a minimal extra cost for those outside of Chorlton to cover petrol expenses.
