UKULELE CLUB - September 2013 in Chorlton, Cheshire for sale

Monday Evenings Starts again on Monday 9th September for 12 weeks. Where: The Edge theatre & Arts Centre Cost: £72 for a 12 week course. We have 2 courses on offer: 6.30 – 8pm: New to Uke Beginners to Intermediate If you've grasped the basics of ukulele playing but want to improve your confidence, then this session is for you. Each class we’ll be going over simple arrangements of popular songs and giving you handy tips and helpful playing techniques. 8pm – 9.30pm Ukulele Orchestra Advanced If you’ve been uke-ing out in your bedroom and have a good knowledge of the instrument then this session is for you. We will be learning arrangements of popular tunes for the ukulele and forming our own ukulele orchestra. In both sessions we will aim to be working towards an informal outcome where you can show off the skills you've acquired to your friends and family. If you can sing that’s a plus but not essential! The sessions are a great way to meet new people and have a laugh on a Monday night, as well as playing some great tunes on this brilliant little instrument! Both sessions are run by the Edge’s musical director, Simon. Please bring your own ukulele, as instruments will not be provided.
