1989 Volkswagen Westfalia T25 for sale Left Hand drive 5 speed gearbox 1.6 litre Diesel engine in Chorlton, Cheshire for sale

Left Hand drive 5 speed gearbox 1.6 litre Diesel engine, (re-conditioned in 2013 with receipt for £3000). Power steering. MOT until March 2016 Mileage is 168,000km (104,000 miles). It has done 3000 to 4000 miles per year for the last 8 years while we have had it. Loads of life in this. Paperwork shows that it was imported to the UK from Germany in 2007. Lots of service history from Germany and all UK maintenance since 2007. Original Westfalia conversion, therefore a left hand drive model. Not the fastest of vans but gets there eventually will cruise on the motorway at about 60 mph. On long runs will return around 35 MPG. Recent work March 2015 MOT conducted no fails. One advisory New battery New turbo oil feed pipe. New starter motor New steering rack gaitor, and power steering pump Front brakes and calipers replaced Rear brake lines replaced New gas struts fitted to tailgate Condition Interior All cupboards functioning, plenty of storage space. Swivel front seats, and rock and roll bed is comfortable. There are a full set of original curtains which are fine in the summer months, but also included are a set of Just Kampers window heat reflectors to keep you warmer on those colder nights. 2 x 3 point seat belts in the front and 2 x lap belts in the back. Hi top top shell in good condition. Fridge and cooker nice and clean and work well run from LPG tank. Trumatic e1800 heater present but not currently functioning – maybe an easy fix for someone. (It works but does not click on for heat. Forums suggest all sorts of solutions such as small blockage which activates safety cut off) One of interior rear speakers is a bit buzzy. All interior lights work bar one. Two hob gas cooker works fine, fed from an LPG gas tank under the van. Sink with fitted underslung water tank working on a pump running off the leisure battery. This works well although I don’t tend to carry water in the tank around with me due to excessive weight. Exterior Was partly re-sprayed 2 years ago generally holding up very well.
